MKN an Ardurra company is seeking dedicated College Interns who are working toward degrees in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Engineering Sciences, and who have an interest in water, wastewater, or water reuse systems. Students pursuing a Master of Science are also welcome. Interns will support projects across California by assisting with engineering tasks, supporting project teams, and contributing to sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
We are a team oriented and highly motivated group with offices in Irvine, Oceanside, San Luis Obispo, Bakersfield, Fresno, San Jose, Ventura, and Santa Clarita.

Time Frames & Duration:
- Typical Start Date: August
- Interviews: Typically start in February
- Commitment of three to six months
- Weekday and daytime availability for twelve to twenty hours per week
- Current Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited University within California
- Compensation: $25-$27 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Field observations and reporting
- Supporting quality assurance, which includes testing and documentation
- Assisting with reporting, data review, and project outcomes
- Supporting modeling of water and wastewater systems
- Assisting with design tasks for water, wastewater, and water reuse infrastructure
- Conducting project-related research
- Coordination and Collaboration
- Coordinating with clients, subconsultants, vendors, and internal staff
- Assisting with the preparation of proposals and project material
