Nunley & Associates, Inc. (MKN) is seeking a highly motivated Civil, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineer who is excited to become part of a growing, highly respected water resources engineering firm and work at any one of our five locations. We are a rapidly growing, team-oriented and highly motivated group with offices in Arroyo Grande, Bakersfield, Fresno, Ventura and Irvine. Duties:

Project and client management; design of water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure; modeling of water resources, water delivery systems and/or wastewater collection systems; preparation of hydraulic calculations and reports; site visits; analysis of water resource management strategies; program and construction management; and review and development of environmental compliance and permitting strategies. You will be expected to manage all aspects of a project from proposal through construction and startup. Principals are key in growing our office’s capabilities and working with and mentoring junior level personal. Additionally, you will spearhead future marketing pursuits and engage in all aspects of the proposal process as well as supporting business development and strategic growth.

Expectations:

Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, as well as eagerness and enthusiasm to serve in both field and office positions on a wide variety of planning and engineering projects throughout California.

Requirements & Experience:

Position requires a B.S. in Civil, Agricultural or Environmental Engineering, with a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience. An M.S. is also preferred although not required for this position. P.E. registration in California is required. Proficiency with MS Office is required. Applicant should identify any prior experience working in InfoWorks, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, BioWIN, and other hydraulic or process modeling programs.
